What is Gate valve:
Gate valves are used to control fluid flow. They have a simple structure consisting of a valve body, seat, bonnet, stem, and gate disc. The gate is vertically movable, allowing for rapid opening and closing to regulate fluid entry and exit. Gate valves have an unobstructed straight-through passage, minimizing pressure loss to the lowest extent possible. Gate valves are widely used across various industries due to their robust sealing performance and minimal fluid resistance when fully open.
How Does a Gate Valve Differ from Other Types of Valves?
Gate valve is an isolation valve and does not control flow like a globe valve. It is used to completely open or completely close a flow path. Partially opening a gate valve over time can cause erosion of the seat, particularly if the fluid is corrosive or abrasive. This erosion is caused by an increase in flow velocity at the leading edge, which can result in leakage from the worn edge when the valve is closed.
Why choose Hero®️ valves:
We produce valve for over 30 years. The workshop covers 13000 square meters and own more than 50 advanced CNC machines. Our engineers & production team will make sure your order delivers with high-quality and fastest time. We also care about valve shipping. The valves will wrap by bubble pouches or paper to ensure the paint will not be damaged. We also fixed valve by plywood stick after we put valve into the box. The plywood case will be painted with necessary marking to make sure the valve will not be damaged during shipping.
